To make it easier for you to understand I will tell you Selma's story.

Érase una vez una oveja...
Once upon a time there was a sheep...

Que todas las mañanas al amanecer, comía un poco de hierba.
Who every morning at dawn used to eat a bit of grass.

Luego enseñaba a hablar a sus hijos hasta el mediodía.
Then she used to teach its kids how to talk until noon.

Por las tardes hacía un poco de gimnasia.
In the afternoon she used to work out a little bit.

Después, volvía a comer hierba.
After that she used to eat grass again.

Al anochecer charlaba un rato con la señora cuervo.
In the evening she used to chat to Ms. Crow for a while.

Y por las noches se quedaba plácida y profundamente dormida.
And at night, she used to have a peaceful and deep rest.
